Wakesurf
Wakesurfing is another boat-wake-based Sport in which a person performes tricks and lines behind a boat. The big differnce to wakeboarding is that wakesurfers are riding the boat's wake without being directly pulled by the boat. After teh launch on the wake, typically getting up into the wake by use of a tow rope, the wakesurfers are dropping the rope, and ride the steep face of the wave in a fashion that is similar to usual surfing. Wakesurfers generally use special boards, designed specifically for wakes. The set up of the Wakeboard Boat is key to get a proper wake for wakesurfing. The ballast tanks must be adjusted to one side of the boat´s stern. Wakesurfing is the perfect way to give your body a alternative and more relaxing time while still have a good time on the water. Wakeboarders usually ride between 23 and 24 miles per hour and the suggested speed for wakesurfing is around 11 miles per hour. Granted the opportunity for doing tricks is significantly less, wakesurfing tends to be much safer for the whole family.
